In a region known for its extremely rich natural, cultural and gastronomic heritage, Pomar Maior allows the customer to create their own experience tailored to their expectations and wishes.

 

Promoting moments and activities to connect with rural life and organic agriculture, a sustainable way of life without neglecting comfort and well-being, among many other activities that can be carried out in the enterprise and in the region.

 

This project took shape in 2015, based on a concept of sustainability and respect for the regional flora and fauna. Its construction was intended to have the least environmental impact, absorbing the vast majority of raw materials within a radius of 30km away and adopting energy and environmental sustainability features for the future.

 

The name is due to the pre-existing orchard, which offers organic production of seasonal fruit and vegetables throughout the year.

Also of note is the amphibian pool, an attraction for all ages, which, besides promoting the preservation of native species to the detriment of invasive species, also serves to control orchard pests in a biological way.

 

Receiving people and providing them with an inspiring and invigorating stay, through the best that this region has to offer: nature, culture and gastronomy is the main purpose 

 

The architecture and modern decoration of the houses and rooms contrast perfectly with the surrounding nature, instilling comfort and refinement to the experience.
